'Cous Cous Seeds of Dignity' Projection + Debates on the situation in Tunisia

"Couscous:
Seeds of Dignity" is the latest documentary by political activist,
researcher and filmmaker Habib Ayeb. The film, which takes place in
Tunisia, deals with the consequences of globalization and the
commercialization of food production. It raises some critical questions
about the way we consume food today. Habib Ayeb is also chairman of
L'Observatoire de la Souveraineté Alimentaire et de l'Environnement
(OSAE), a grassroots organization in Tunisia dedicated to raising
awareness about the importance of food sovereignty, social justice and
the protection of the environment, natural resources and biodiversity.On Friday 28 April at 18.00, we invite you to watch it together at the library of Lampedusa.Following the screening there will be a debate on the current political, economic and social situation in Tunisia.Il documentary will be screened in original language with Italian subtitles.
